2 Fast 2 Furious is the sequel to, the 2001 film, The Fast and The Furious. It sees fugitive LAPD officer Brian O'Connor and his childhood friend Roman Pearce re-united by the FBI to bring down a Miami drug lord in exchange for clean records.

2 Fast 2 Furious sees the return of Brian O'Connor (Paul Walker) and the introduction of Roman Pearce (Tyrese Gibson) as they work together, through fast-paced car scenes and a myriad of bad guys, to bring down a Miami drug lord. While the film pays homage to the Fast and Furious franchise with its continued use of beautiful cars, fast-paced and high octane action sequences and decent acting, it does have some obvious plot twists and cringe-worthy moments that leaves it in need of a boast of nitrous oxide (NOS) to catch up to the original. However, overall, 2 Fast 2 Furious is a reasonable film that, while it could have easily been marketed as a stand-alone film rather than as a sequel, entertains the audience.

A decent sequel to The Fast and The Furious franchise, with a good level of acting and action sequences this film is both entertaining and enjoyable. My only criticism is that the plot twists can be too obvious and the dialogue of Roman Pearce (Tyrese Gibson), such as, 'bruh', 'cuz', and 'yo' can become cringe-worthy at times.

2 Fast 2 Furious is semi-decent sequel to The Fast and The Furious (2001), it sees the return of Brian O'Connor (Paul Walker) and continues the trend of fast-paced, highly expensive cars and crazy driving you expect from the franchise. However, its lack of other returning characters makes this film seem more like a stand-alone production rather than a part of a wider franchise.
