Review
The idea of a teenager finding himself on a missing person’s site and then running from contract killers and the CIA, while fighting for the truth, seemed farfetched and doomed to fail. However, Abduction not only made it seem believable but also was entertaining and thrilling at the same time. The main cast (Taylor Lautner and Lilly Collins) and the supporting cast (Michael Nyqvist, Alfred Molina, and Sigourney Weaver) complemented each other perfectly and the story progressed at a reasonable speed that built suspense and left The Reviewers on the edge of their seats. Overall, Abduction is a well-crafted piece of cinematography, which drops the audience into a world that leaves them wondering who the enemy really is and whether Nathan’s fight for the truth will be a fight to the death.

An action-thriller mixed with a romance sub-plot could have easily been a flop. However, Abduction pulls it off. Taylor Lautner and Lilly Collins on-screen chemistry drew me in and kept me entertained for the entire picture. Overall, Abduction, like its name suggests, seized the momentum and took me on a journey full of romance and action sequences that I would happily watch again.
