Paranoia is a film that offers nothing new. It is essentially a film about two rivals who try to outfox each other, albeit through the use of pawns and the occasional threat to hurt innocent bystanders. Despite this, the film has a semi-believable story and its use of New York as a backdrop helped highlight the films two main sub-plots of 'do not forget where you came from' and 'success comes at a price.' Overall, Paranoia is ultimately a film designed to help the audience relax rather than to thrill or leave them coming back for more.

Though the overall premise of the film filled me with high expectations I was a little let down by the all star cast. This film had a somewhat predictable story of corporate espionage mixed with a romantic story sub-plot, which just left me wanting more.

Paranoia is a film, like its romantic sub-plot, that starts with a surge of excitement then fizzles out only to come back with a reduced surge of excitement and passion towards the end. It is a film that, while enjoyable and watchable at times, it just does not set the heart racing or fully satisfy the audience.
