Review

The Imitation Game is a 114 minute tale that starts strong and finishes even stronger. It is a film that left us wanting more...not due to unanswered questions...but because the acting, script and on-screen chemistry between Alan Turing (Benedict Cumberbatch) and Joan Clarke (Keira Knightley) was simply awesome. While watching the film you can not help but laugh at Turing's unique social skills and when the Enigma code is finally broken you can not help but marvel at how it was done. Overall, both reviewers feel that this film is a must see movie of 2014.

Comments:

A thoroughly exciting tale that outlines the success of Alan Turing in breaking / cracking the Naval Enigma Code. The Imitation Game is a pleasure to watch and features great performances by Benedict Cumberbatch and Keira Knightly or as I renamed them in a state of giggles near the end of the film Benedict Cucumberpatch and Keira Knight to E4.

Reviewer 2's score & comments:

Score: 9 out of 10

Comments:

This film was a pleasure to watch. Benedict Cumberbatch's portrayal of Alan Turing, a social outcast / geek, is so compelling that it broke down the 'fourth wall' between the actors and the audience and made me feel like I was actually in the room, helping to crack the Enigma code.
